My beautiful journey with Amal started 3 months ago where I had lived and enjoyed every day with passion and dedication. Amal has uplifted my confidence level, my networking and has helped me improved my public speaking skills. Amal academy. Throughout the Amal Fellowship, I have found myself was very curious from the first session but at the same time, I was confused and nervous. I would really to give my thanks to Ma’am Rabia Noor and Sir Ahmed, who not only created a safe environment for learning and growth but also provided every follower to learn, share and improve without any hesitation. They provided us very positive feedback and kept motivating us till the end. The smiles of Amal’s Program Manager/Associate and their joy in one’s success, enthusiasm, and passion really attracted me. Amal not only helped me improve my confidence but also helped me adopt various professional and communicating skills. It helped me understand the importance of communication, networking, teamwork, and leadership. At the same time, I was also provided the chance to make good friends among the fellows who I really appreciate for helping me and I will remain obliged for the rest of my life.

The last day of the beautiful journey ended with Amal being our last session, followed by the Mega presentation, and was very emotional for me. Thinking about the 3 months that I had spent with Amal, the weekends, the sessions, the assignments, and the group discussion are the things that I will be missing during my entire life. The last session was full of fun, love, and emotions. I came across the Amal during Covid-19 where everyone including me was in a stressful situation. I tried to participate in every session till the end and in order to make the last session memorable, I tried to enjoy the moments, the laughs, and remind me with the first session that I had, reflect back to my expectations, desires, and sadness with the end of the fellowship.

The first activity of the last session was the SCAVENGER hunt which was a very interesting fun activity. During this activity, we were devised into two larger groups to look and hunt for the answers in the riddles and capture ourselves with the images. I was incorporated in Group 1 and we were given 25 riddles with conditions that each individual could only capture 3 pictures with the objects and in order to solve maximum riddles, the teams were supposed to find the answers, upload the hidden objects within 25 minutes. The SCAVENGER hunt was another activity that was focused on team activity and focused on the importance of a Team. Fellows from both teams tried their best to solve maximum riddles by providing images in proof using the Amal principal Aik or aik gayara but unfortunately, many of our team members including the fellow devised to upload images got disconnected and couldn’t upload the maximum images on time. We couldn’t win without the excuses but we did appreciate the other team and congratulated them. The actual purpose of this game was also to make our last day memorable so that each team could enjoy the last day.

The second activity was devised on receiving appreciation notes from our fellows and facilitators. It was something memorable. I felt and understood how people feel when they are appreciated and felt like it was the best feeling to read those notes, positive feedbacks, prayers, and was a bit more emotional to see everyone for the one last under the platform of the fellowship.

It was for the first time when I saw that no one was actually involved thinking about the time. This session was very different from other sessions because we did not talk about work, assignments, or discuss any online course. We did fun activities where we applied teachings of Amal like action, aik or aik gayara, time management, thinking out of the boxes, and showing gratitude. During the session, I felt that it is important to connect and do things just for your emotional uplift sometimes, even without focusing on work. I think all these teachings were not only useful during the activity but were also helpful in our personal and professional life.

As one said that the journey to a thousand steps begin with a step but it does end with the last step which really made me emotional and the hardest thing during a journey is to say goodbye”
